The turtle doves are a symbol of eternal love

My love for you is like two turtle doves
Under the haze of an autumn evening
Cooing sweet symphonies as two in love
Embraced in arms and forever clinging.
And like the turtle doves who side by side
Devote the other’s love, eternally,
Inside each other’s heart, we shall abide
Living in love, keeping you close to me.
Though close to me, I know the hands of death
Will strip our wings and rob us of our flight.
Till then, I treasure each and every breath
I take with you, flying under sunlight.
From one another’s side we shall not part
If love lives on forever in our heart.
