A Moonflower in Wind

Bristle among the winds in night's embrace,
Softly dancing to nature's ballad grace.
Under the lunar rays and starry skies,
I find solace when I look in your eyes.
Enchant my heart with sweet, harmonic tunes
Of windy days, where in my arms, you'll swoon.
I'll never let you go if you will stay
In this eden where we can live our days
In peaceful bliss and endless harmony,
A strifeless love for all eternity.
I'll carry you with my immortal wings
Above the trees of the forest and bring
You to the sky for my selfish desire
To keep you close to me and to admire
The beauty of your eyes that soothe my heart,
Yet tear my weary soul and mind apart
When you're away from my embrace to cling
Amongst the wind of my immortal wings.
My love, my sweet, my lovely moonflower,
Allow my winds to hold you forever
If but to know that you are close to me
And I can feel your touch, eternally.
Come dance with me in our eden of love,
Where gentle winds will lift you high above
The petty world of mortal strife and lies
And save your heart from painful, tearful cries.

The narrator of this poem is the wind. The wind is enchanted by a flower and never wants it to leave its embrace.

Wow, this made my jaw drop and my mind flip. Very amazing, a beautiful Gothc romance you have captured. I love the detail and sincerity in it, i love when love is captured in a dark hue. Adding this to favorites, well done. Another of your masterpieces that will certainly find it's place in history either before or after your death. I can easily imagine high school students reading and studying your work in english/literature classes. A gift you have, and if not recognized now it will be at some point in time.
