Depression

For all those depressed people out there. Cheer up, I can relate, here's a poem that I hope can help. Enjoy.

Depression

 

It’s like being in a room with no windows, doors

Or roofs, so the rain falls on your head, pounding

Drop by drop, digging into your brain like a

Bullet, wearing you away until there is nothing left

But you can’t tell people because you think no one will

Believe you. You need to sort it out on your own

 

You need to get out of that dark box in your head

Tell people your problems, let them help you

Don’t drown in self misery, self pity or self hatred

Get help, there are people out there

But be careful, there will be road blocks

On your trail to self belief and self assurance

But you will get there.

I don't think that the poem had a very good flow to it, but I did like the message it gave. I feel like some lines are more choppy then others. I also think that you could do without some of the lines seeing that they don't have much purpose.
