Bring me love – to cherish and honor,

Bring me truth – so I can be sure.

Bring me joy – for laughter and smile,

Bring me sickness – I’ll bring people the cure.

 

Bring me friends – so loneliness fades,

Bring me tears – so I’ll be strong.

Bring me cards – I’ll give you the spades,

Bring me honesty – I’ll show right from wrong.

 

Bring me raindrops – the sun will shine through,

Bring me fears – I will chase them away.

Bring me sadness – to see what’s true,

Bring me darkness – they’ll see the light of the day.

 

Bring me heroes – they’ll guide the path,

Bring me grey – I’ll make it turn blue.

Bring me anger – it’s better than wrath,

Bring me faith – I’ve learned from you.

 

Bring me laughter – so the world can smile,

Bring me angels – sent from above.
