DoubtA Poem by Idyllwyld"Fear keeps us from acting. Doubt leads us to believe that we cannot."
I doubt that I will ever escape my life of maintenance.
That I will leave this content stasis. That my paranoia will ever make me stop being suspect. That the air around me in the shower is safe, and free of the instance of demons. That my ambitions will outlast my endurance. That my environment will operate without me. That these materials will ever become meaningless for me. That I can forgo control. I doubt that I'll stop wanting. That I can corral my loathing. That they'll get what I meant. That I'll realize what I want to live. That I'll be ready. That reason and logic will assume. That reason and logic are what is needed. That there will be more than dread, fear, and distaste. Will it always be this way? I doubt it. © 2011 IdyllwyldAuthor's Note
