Those Who Left

Just a simple poem, about people leaving others.

A great nation,

once set sail,

to find what others could not.

The ships left the harbor,

with many people,

leaving their sons,

their daughters,

their family.

They left,

left all that they new

all that they loved.

Many leave,

and do not return,

they still are with us,

though not in body.
