Lead Us To Victory

"i dont think winning should come easy"

thats my philosophy for playing sports

i think of winning as a privilage

if you and your team has worked hard to get where you are

then you deserve to win

if you have been good sports when losing

and always took it in as "i will get better because of this"

then you should win

so god, since my team has worked hard

and have gotten beat and still stood up in the 14th inning

please lead us to victory

i think we deserve it

yes of course were still learning

and yes we get better everyday

i think even the best of teams should learn something

everyday

and get better than they were the day before

everyday

so if we do these things again this season

lead us to victory

i have no doubt in my mind that if we

work even harder than last year that we will be victors

i think we started to loose confidence towards the end

and i think winning gives you confidence

so if you feel that we can do it on our own

show us

prove it to us

or at least them

show my team how much they can believe in themselves

just as much as i believe in them

so lets get this season started off on good foot

and dont ever stop believing
