24 Hours Later

24 Hours Later

A Poem by Corinna Bridgebury

It’s been, what,

24 hours?

And already I miss you.

The city

And walking

Reminds me of you.

I want your hand in mine

So we can explore the city

Together.

See the earthbound stars

Orange and bright

Together.

So I don’t have to take pictures

Just point

And you’d see.
