...Drowned
by each wave
washing the shore
of the ever shifting sands
Colliding memories with
the rising tides
and a kiss
supposedly sweet
A bloom in a whisper
sunsets of dawn
of an intoxicated
trust
Decadence of the heart
couldn't fill the void
with the skies
of the night
as the pain in the numb
