In A Maze

This one's about feeling lost in life with no obvious path.

As I entered the maze
I had no doubts in mind
The exit I knew
I could easily find

But as I ventured farther
Deep into the abyss
The more I realized
Something was amiss

As I tried to find again
The path I meant to take
The more I dreaded
My fatal mistake

It wasn’t long before
I was trapped inside the maze
And every second that passed
Seemed to last for days

Now in I am stuck here
No escape I can see
All I can hope for
Is someone to find me

I love the title ...
Such a beautiful poem...
Reminds me of having a broken heart and longing for that one true love to come and make everything beautiful.....but then I see things as a romantic at heart...
