NightlifeA Poem by A.J.I stare into her piercing blue eyes, glowing like neon ‘open’ signs I tell her she’s beautiful, the only one to ever shine so bright She calls me a silly liar and tugs at my belt a little, her gaze locked in mine She sits in my lap, kissing my neck, telling a few lies I long for her flesh, bronze, yet gold in this light We go on to mess around a little, for a long while, Then I tell her I’ll see her tomorrow, and put a few bucks or so ‘round her thigh And Feeling a little like Bukowski, I show myself back into the night, Disgusted and high
