Angel on my shoulder

Step into me,

Fill my eyes with a healing glint,

To help this person in front of me.

 

Angel on my shoulder

Giving me the strength,

To carry on through the dark days

Filling me with pure white shimmering light, and hope.

 

Angel on my shoulder

Comforting me in times of lose.

I only have to ask

I feel your precious wings

Envelop my very being.

 

Angel on my shoulder

I wish more people would ask

If only they could see

And look behind and

Glance at thee

How different their lives could be.......

I agree with the rest, this is certainly not cheesy, and the font color makes so much sense and accentuates the soothing effect. I enjoyed this almost prayer-like beauty of this poem, very comforting and uplifting. There's this sense of belief, that angels well always be there, their presence can make life something else, and make every moment beautiful. Good job.
