A Short Trip

    Lying here alone on my bed, i can imagine you peacefully sleeping in your bed, with your head upon a soft pillow. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. Then i fly to the far away place where you sleep so soundly.

    I must be silent, i mustn't wake you. I must not show my face so i wont ruin your perfect view. Secretly i sit beside you as you sleep, so i can hear you breath, and hear your resting yet beating heart.

    I will visit you every night, to guard you from the enemy's clutches. Never will i let him trap you. So i take a short trip across an ocean, islands and mountains. Just to make sure that you are loved, safe and unbound.
