A Poem by Mark

Where the wild one flows,
and the river is wide,
I stand all over alone
waitin' on this salty tide.

She says it's my time,
Says she can't regret.
She knows it's my line
Be awhile to forget.

Stands in the river,
Her bare feet are wet.
So cold, she starts to quiver
where wind and skin have met.

She says it's my time,
Says she can't ever regret.
She knows it's all a line
takes too long to forget.

White on the mirror
Sweet tinkles in glass
She unleashed the fever
and then it kicked my a*s

She says it's my time,
Says she can't ever regret
She knows it's all my line
She just won't ever forget.

While I stand and watch
my thoughts flow away.
I ponder a red pain splotch
turns the night into the day.

My heart is dried up
no more redness there.
So much I tried hard to stop
she laid my soul out bare.

She says it's all time
all in life she regrets
it was lost in that white line
Begs me, please, please forget.

She says it's my time,
says she can't ever regret.
She knows it's all my line,
She knows I can not forget.

She knows it's my time
addiction, regret.
She had to have that next line,
just, just, just to forget.

Yes this is evokative but repetative to the extent is causes switch off. It needs some crafting but has the potential to be really good.

John, I can always count on your honest opinion and it is always welcome. Thanks
for me it evokes regret and sadness. like something that can't be repaired and will remain broken. excellent poem.
