The days rolled

On and on

Sometimes merging

Into one never-ending

Eternity.

 

The clock continued

To tick

Second by second

Minute by minute

Hour by hour.

 

Until the sun went down

Causing darkness

Signaling the end of another day

Without you.

 

Years have passed

And we’ve grown up

Seen the errors

Of our ways.

Seen how miscommunication

Can ruin even the

Strongest people.

 

There’s a bright light

Lingering on the

Horizon.

I now know

Without a doubt

That there’s hope for us after all.
