Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel

A Poem by Hecate Zariah

I lay here upon the cold ground
My wings sprawled out and blood splattered
I am broken, empty, and lost
Cast out of heaven and rejected by hell
These sins I have committed label me for eternity
I am to wonder this world and for once I am terribly afraid
Afraid because this world is worse then hell
The people here are full of emotion, scared, confused, and constantly at war
I lay here upon the cold ground
My wings sprawled out and blood splattered
I am broken, empty, and lost
Cast out of heaven and rejected by hell
These sins I have committed label me for eternity
I refuse to walk this world of sadness and regret
I will continue to lay here and look up at the sky, knowing my happiness has long been lost
I am a Fallen Angel, and as any, we know that we will never fit in
