Lipsticked Kiss

Lipsticked Kiss

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

How a scent can linger making us smile

"

Your sweet perfume scent

lingers on my tattoo'ed skin

within lipsticked kiss.

I read the description underneath the title first and it makes sense when read. Still, without reading it holds true. Sometimes, I can feel a presence in my home even when I know that there is only me and my dog there alone. I wonder if the past really does linger...

Scent takes us back to times cherished...I loved these few lines put together in an excellent way.

Alright I am stumped... You obviously know me from sound cloud, but I am not remembering your monicur at all... forgive me if we have met before, but I do have to say I liked this breif write. Reminds me of a show I went to once before I was married. A girl saw my tattoo of Tigger and planted a kiss on him. Well written indeed.

Brevity. You pulled so much into these few words, touch, scent, sight and emotion; set the scene and welcomed imagination.

Scents can bring pleasurable times to memory. Well done in so few words. Keep on penning.
