Limericks

Some limericks I had to write for a class

The limerick is made with pattern and rhyme

Five lines with certain time
with limited beats
lacking in treats
each limerick will end in a chime

Tick tock said the clock
perhaps he wanted to mock
with time flying by
he looked in my eye
as I experienced a mental block

Limerick writing is a difficult task
one which requires no mask
with extra time
an open mind
limericks will be free to bask
