In the depths of darkness, where shadows creep,
A haunting presence, a nightmare's keep.
It slumbers not, within the realm of sleep,
A twisted dance, where fears run deep.

Its tendrils reach, with icy grip,
Through the mind's labyrinth, it starts to slip.
A tapestry of terror, it begins to weave,
A macabre symphony, that none can conceive.

In the dead of night, it takes its flight,
Unleashing horrors, with all its might.
A cacophony of screams, fills the air,
As the nightmare's essence, spreads despair.

Through twisted landscapes, it takes its prey,
In a realm where reason fades away.
Whispers of fear, like echoes in the night,
Consume the soul, extinguishing all light.
