*"Whispers of hope"*

*"Whispers of hope"*

A Poem by ivy thornhill
"

A tender poem about the quiet strength of hope, even in life’s darkest moments. It speaks of resilience, unseen light, and the comfort found in holding on.

"

In hush of night,

 ‘fore dawn can break,

When stars like dying embers shake,

A fragile light begins to rise

" A silent fire beneath the skies.

At times we stumble, bend, or fall,

Our backs pressed hard against the wall,

 Yet hope, unseen,

will softly stay To guide us through the blackest day.

It hides in tears we never show,

In aching hearts the world won’t know,

A tender voice, a breath, a flame,

That calls us gently by our name.

What would we do in sorrow’s tomb,

Without hope’s light in day of doom?

We do not sleep assured we’ll live,

But in the hope new dawn will give.

Hope is the thread that mends the seam,

The fragile stitch within a dream. It asks no proof,

it needs no sign" It lives in souls like yours and mine.
