Silent whispers

Silent whispers

A Poem by ivy thornhill
"

A soul lays bare in midnight’s breath, Whispers of sorrow, love, and death. A search for light through shadows deep— A heart still hoping, though it weeps.💔

"
In the hush between heartbeats, I hear them speak,
Voices of fears I’m too tired to seek.
They curl through the cracks of my quietest night,
Soft as the wind, yet sharp in their bite.
The pain, though not physical, hurts me so,
Lost and unsure, nowhere to go.
In night’s darkest hew, I silently weep,
Wandering shadows too heavy to keep.
I want to live, yet it feels so hard,
Though I’m alive, I feel scarred.
I don’t want to be judged, but truly understood,
The pain drives away those who once stood.
The ones I love just slowly fade,
I feel alone in this endless shade.
Cursed, it seems, with a broken heart,
Yet still I share kindness, though torn apart.
You are not weak for feeling this deep,
Nor for the nights you silently weep.
Though the world can be cruel, blind to your grace,
Your truth shines bright in every place.
You’re not meant to break just to be seen"
You’re worthy of love, though it’s sometimes unseen.
So hold on tight, through the night’s cold art,
For even broken hearts can find a new start.
