but promise me today.

and hope the memory will stay.

If you wont promise me today,

and never let it fade.

If you can't promise me this place,

then promise me the song.

Promise me all its lyrics,

for they are so very strong.

If you can't even promise me that song,

then promise me your words are true. 

Promise me that at this moment now,

 that this is the real you.
