A Message To Someone Special

I Think of you quite often,

Although we're far apart,

But the miles cannot separate us,

Because you live inside my heart;

 

I'll always love and miss you,

Although I know you won't be coming back,

But that can't change the way I feel,

Because without you my world is black;

 

I know I won't be able to replace you,

Although I'm sure I'll find someone new,

But I know she could never be as special,

Because there could never be another you;

 

I've felt so sad since you've been gone,

Although I've been doing rather well,

But I know I'll never be the same,

Because this has put me through a living hell;

 

I know the memories will last for life,

Although many will most likely fade,

But the important ones will always stay strong,

Because of the difference in my life you made;

 

I'll converse with you as time goes by,

Although it will only be in my mind,

But if you can please try to hear me,

Because I'll love you until the end of time.

Love is both timeless and priceless.. which you have put into words so beautiful here! I love that there is no anger.. no selfish pride .. just remembering the goodness of this person's impact! A sense of acceptance though still in love.. so many lines I love here.. a really great inspirational read!
