If Love Was Easy

If Love was easy....

 

  We wouldn't have any fights

  We wouldn't have sleepless nights

 

  We would cry no tears of pain

  We would see no days of rain

 

  It wouldn't cause minds to bend

  It wouldn't cause lives to end

 

  Life would be all happiness and bliss

  Life would be just a hug and a kiss

 

  We would never be hurt and confused

  We would never feel like we're being used

 

But Love isn't easy

  It's great but sometimes demanding

 

No, it's never easy

  It takes patience and understanding.

Everything said in this poem is so true. If love were easy, but anything worth having is never easy. You have to fight for it, work for it, it makes it more worthwhile in the end. But love, like everything else, doesn't always work. Very nice.
