Lunar Let-Go

Lunar Let-Go

A Poem by J. Hampton
"

The Moon Is Not Up For Argument

"
I have no idea what today will bring
or take with it

But I know
even the tide
is controlled by the greater things God has set in place

do not struggle to control
what or whom has been so consumed
with scavenging for valuables washed ashore

They are oblivious that High-Tide is coming
And the Moon...
The Moon is not up for argument

It is so true that God has His plan and as Paul Simon wrote, "The information is unavailable to the mortal man". But God is good and wonderful no matter what the situation. Situations of late have greatly tested my faith but God is always faithful and true. Oh, I don't worry for myself but the devil takes pot shots at your loved ones if he finds out you're not afraid to fight him on his own ground. I nearly lost my little girl which terrified and traumatized me and then nearly lost my little dog and my wife has been struggling with health issues. It's been a lot to bear but God has answered my prayers and things are going better. Baby girl is getting the help she needs. Little dog is recovering nicely and the wife has got a plan to help with her health problems. We believe and pray, every day and God provides. I know His mercy and love are forever. We mere mortals sometimes forget that we need not take the burden of the world on our shoulders. Christ carried it all with the cross. I enjoyed the read. God bless you. F.

Life as we live it - seldom as we want it...

Comes a time we learn we can only "fix" our own selves and not others. But we CAN help without conditions

Foolish men believe they can control the wind, the sea and the earth. The cannot not. I enjoyed your thoughts leading to the perfect ending. Thank you my friend for sharing your amazing poetry and your thoughts.
