So cold

So cold

A Poem by Rose

A world so cold it sends chills down my spine
Screaming for the few seconds of everything being fine.

A body so cold, a shattered soul
Counting the days of again being whole.

I'm afraid for tomorrows emptiness
Everything is gone; no truth or righteousness.

The pieces of me dance in silhouettes
Teasing, yet pleading; nothing makes sense.

Ages and stages, trials and tribulations
My ragged being set for eternal damnation.

A sickened mentality overflowing levy's of sanity
Reoccurring memories thrashing at my lingering humanity.

Time ticks, I wonder alone, a heart beats against a hollow shell
Losing myself and my final remnants, drowning in a self- induced hell.
