Goodbye

Read the poem, it's rather self explanatory :)...I don't mean that to sound as sarky as it does :S

The worst word in the dictionary

Is that little word goodbye.

Every time I hear that word,

It makes me want to cry

Say so long,

Fare well, adue,

Or smile

And pass me by.

But please

My friend,

Don’t make me say,

That hateful word

Goodbye.

I'd like to know if the punctuations/breaks in the poem sound alright and not too...jerky?
