Poverty

Poverty

A Poem by J.Arthur.B

Poverty is an exhausting concept
a way of living
an end that never comes
a weigh over the sidewalk feeding disdain
is losing what you were, but must definitely what you could be
blinking loose
    day over day
it happens then
that faith starts leaking

I like this poem quite a lot.

Again, a couple things that seem like they might be typos? (so hard to tell with poetry)

I like the concept behind this piece. And I like that you use fewer words to express yourself. I think the feeling comes over stronger

I wanted to like this piece and connect with it, I just couldn't. It has some really nice elements and words to work with though. It left me feeling like it was so close to being really powerful and insightful. I think if you make some additions/changes this could be a really solid, cohesive piece.

Thanks for sharing
