The man is literally too stupid to trap anything else but himself and other dumb people with his ignorant lies. Unfortunately, he won't ever take the stand because he knows he can't lie under oath. It's like asking Satan to recite the lord's prayer, while drinking a bottle of holy water. Or like asking a vampire to break dance in the nude on a bright summer day in the open light. Ain't gonna happen. Wish it would simply for the comedy of it all, but he's too slimy a character to ever consider it.

You're likely right, Carlos. Teflon Don will legally delay, hoping for a Republican win in the Midterms to cancel the Jan 6 Committee. If not, he'll find another way.

as much as I would enjoy the show, the summoning of DJT to account is never going to happen. The committee is really just laying down a marker, and hoping (which is already being rewarded) the rump will publicly respond thereby giving more free evidence to those already in the process of hauling him into court.
The real end of these hearings is going to be in the report they issue, much like the 9-11 commission, the whole truth will be there in black and write for all to see forever and ever
