Reflections on Blue IceA Poem by JE FalconJust a visual poem.I touched the blue ice once And I thought that I would die. But I didn't die, --- no --- I didn't die I continued on and touched the sky.
Then I walked upon the clear ice, It's transparent --- for vision clear. But it is slippery, oh so slippery, And to fall became my greatest fear.
Red ice shards were very painful They cut quite deep within the heart. We dare not touch them, ever again, Least we're cut apart.
I've touched them all, every color, And I learned a lesson. This I know, "Find a warm and cozy space Where ice can never grow."
