Wisssssh!

A lost love poem.

I once knew a woman whose name was Confusion

She filled me with lies and built a delusion

She took me to places that I’d never gone

And lead me to fancy that “I was the One”.

She taunted and teased, consuming me whole,

Then captured my spirit and purchased my soul.

She showed me the meaning of love’s burning light

And then she was gone, (Wisssssh!), in the night.

I have gone out with several women named Confusion...and they left me with a child of that name.
