The Day of Ulysses

The Day of Ulysses

A Poem by John Sullivan

my little furry friend
until his bravest end

you know,

the darkest days of life
can cut you like a knife

but, by tooth and claw
his voice loud and raw...

my little furry friend...

I'd hereby like to send
my warmest deepest thanks

because the nights march in in ranks

save for the light

of a furry little sun

BFF's for life
when all
is said

and done.
