Cracked Smile

Sometimes, i may be depressed

But every once in a while i do crack a smile at pretty little things

Laugh when jokes are funny

Communicate with others

and enjoy the nice days

But i go inside myself

When i'm all alone

There's something broken

Filled with sadness so sweet

That'll engulf and embrace

Whenever I look in a mirror

I never like the lies I see

And whenever i rest my head

The tears come falling like a waterfall that doesnt cease

I do miss something

Something That i've been longing

That doesn't exist

I can still find a way

To help me not feel depressed

I'll only just be sad for a while

Till i can find my light

That'll give me that smile back

I think a lot of people put on a mask and smile at the world, yet when they are alone, retreat into themselves. There is a lot of loneliness in the world...and your poem captures that very well.
