Mended Pieces

Life had broken me

As it broken her

But when we found each other and we got together

And our broken pieces matched and we connected 

So we became a whole

We continued our path together in our journey together

Mended as one

That connection is now lost

So we became two broken pieces

She became a whole again

While i remained a broken piece

Life has found it's way back to break me again

So yet again i remain a broken piece

That you couldn't keep

I thought I found the piece to make whole again by trying to fix your broken piece with mine

But I cut myself with your shattered pieces and now I'm alone

Broken and breaking with each second and every thought of you and what could have happened

We are not one anymore

But I'll always be here

Waiting for you

To become a whole again.
