It is a fact I can't deny

that it would be so good to fly

on bended wing, with bird-like skill,

my curiosity to fill.

 

That it would be so good to fly

means life could never pass me by;

I'd see the world revealed below

with nowhere that I could not go

 

On bended wing with birdlike skill

hill and river I'd fly until

each day the sun its course had run;

Oh what a life!  What splendid fun.

 

My curiosity to fill,

an olive branch held in my bill,

I'd try to find why wars don't cease

and why it is men fight - - - for PEACE!
