The electric circusA Poem by JPatrickAusanka
The electric circus
provides no solitude.
In this forest of neurons
I dance delicately.
Contortionist operates
my roller coasters,
makes them twist indeterminably.
Though, I do not fault him
for doing what he loves
I would, if I had the time.
The electric circus spins
relentlessly, fires and backfires,
throws children through fences,
burns down all the carnival rides
