Wade in deep water with me

Wade in deep water with me

A Poem by JPatrickAusanka
"

more lyrical than my usual brand, but tried and true

"

Wade the deepest water with me,
up to ankles and past the knee.
Let the lapping shores bereave,
the loss of the beauty that is we.

Wade in deeper pools tonight,
under the surging tide we fight.
Wandering, our souls delight,
will take the tide with us tonight.

Swim the deepest, bluest seas,
growing gills, eternities.
Sorrow's deep green estuary,
waters which we now bereave.
