Having great faith and believing are the best ways to be close to God. There are many things you can do but unless you truly believe and have faith it is all for nothing. This is a great poem for making people see the reality of believe in God and how to become close with him.

There is such a finality in your words. Not only that but the wisdom in them is inarguably solid and your faith and innate beliefs are magnificently compounded by honed words to convey this in a manner that is easily relatable to the readers perspective. I'm glad i read this...
Liked this part:
"The more you know, the more ignorant you become.
It is almost impossible to reach God through knowledge.
In this sinful world, whatever we do, is replete with sin
We should live like water on a Lotus leaf.
In a state of detachment and disinterestedness"
Dear Blue Moon, The Gita, the holy book for Hindus talks about detachment and disinterestedness which I talked about in the poem.Detachment means you should not be attached to your work. That means you should be selfless which seems impossible to us but it is possible to great people like Gandhi and Lincoln and Mother Teresa. They lived among us and worked with detachment and disinterestedness. They were never selfish but they always thought of the people. They do their work without expecting any return for it.

Your words are true. Wisdom of a good life is simple.
"Devotion, knowledge and work."
A man or woman who live with kindness and love as their goal. Will find peace and happiness in the end. Thank you for a excellent poem.

This subject captured my attention immediately. I found your ideas really fascinating. I can understand what you're saying with knowledge, because it can seem like the more you know about God, the less you know, but at the same time, I feel like you need to "know" God and know about him so you can discover what you really believe in. One thing I noticed is that in the second line, you put knowledge second in the list of ways to reach God, but then it's the first topic you discuss. It might be easier to follow if you put it first in the list. Also, you didn't mention how work is a way to reach God. Considering how interesting your opinions were on the first two paths, I would enjoy hearing about the third way.
Did you know that the Lotus flower grows in the mud, and it doesn't get any sun. But once the sun hits it, it becomes the most beautiful flower. That kind of extraordinary works can only happen because God gave it that uniqueness. Knowledge is sun to me, I was once like filthy rags, and now because I have Jesus in my life, I am that lotus flower. Nice write!
I dont know if knowledge makes you more ignorant, in my honest opinion i think it makes you more aware about the possiblity of the impossible. At least through my own experiences, that might be true. still, this piece was a bit of food for though .I enjoyed it. Great write!
