A poem about suicide

What if I said I was ready to die?

No more worries.

No more Tears.

To die in darkness with out any fears.

 

What if I said I was ready to die?

No more struggles

No more pain.

I'm ready and willing give me the chain.

 

What if I said I was ready to die?

No more smiles

No more hugs

When you find my body dead on the rug.

Poetry is not my first choice of writing but sometime it helps get feelings out rather than let them build up in my head and take away from my novel writing.

I don't care much for this type of songs... I write about embracing life and fighting for your wishes. It is obligatory to me to read various songs and in songs like this I see weeping for life and sacrifice rather than creation and art.
