You Don't Care

Just finished this one, 10 or so minutes ago. Personal one I concocted.something I got going on with someone unfortunately very close to me.

I just want what is fair and you don't even care
I come to you with my heart so bare, and you don't even care

All I've asked for is for what is right and all you can do is fight
have you no sight, must you be so cold I've not a single thing wrong and all you can do is fight

I don't want to argue, I've gone through hell and back for you
and yet I've not gotten any closer to the light.
None of what you've done you've done is right.
It a been an awfully unhappy pursuit and only just to please you

I've bent over backwards my back hurts
I've done nothing but the impossible for you
and gotten nothing in return.

All I've ever wanted is what was fair, I've come to you endlessly
with my heart so bare and nothing ever matters
because you don't even care.

Your getting no respect you deserve better than you are getting from this fool he doesn't see your side of the rules May you find a better guy for you somewhere else someone who loves you for you and respects you lets you be a little bit like your self. Here is hoping you find a loving relationship one with equal give and receive.

Not so much relationship but much much more personal than that. Anyway , yes. That is one way this works also though. Ooh and much appreciated for all the critiquing. Means whole lot. I've often thought using youtube as well and attempting to do a poetry Jam type deal. Anyways thanks again for all the comments

I can relate so closely with this. You've captured the frustration very well here. It's so hard to be the only one who cares in a relationship.
