I wish it wasn't so twisted
I wish everyone knew to resist it
What it all is and what it all isn't

If only none of us had to be told
If only we all knew it would be cold
We all knew how it would unfold

If only it wasn't so wrong
If only we could all get along
Know telling how much or how strong

If only we had just tried
