No one knows when you go ghost

Any time I've tried to get close
Any time I left myself exposed
and it shows, the distance grows
No one knows, the moment you go ghost

When I attempt to get near, to wield the cure, dry the tears and mend the fears you cannot hear because you aren't here. At arms length lacking strength sadness will sear. you disappear because

Anytime I try to get close

Nobody knows when you go ghost

I've tried to touch but cannot reach
If tried to love but smell of defeat
I've done so much and I repeat
Will it ever be enough to see
Or is it just to much to conceive

Because I can't get close
