Resuscitate

My undying strength and hope for this society and it's people

I will always fight the good fight
shed some light. hope to reunite
I will not die, my will come back to life
give me time, give me the night
I will rise. proceed to do it right

Even when I am beaten down
When water rises and I drown
As I descend. left down and out
I can not. Will not remain on the ground

I will rise again
fight again
Resuscitate
I will remain

I will not fade. Be lost out in the shade
I will not go away. I swear I'm here to stay
I will fight another day in this state of disarray
i will appease, find release in disease and hate
I will not turn away, will not go away. Not, not today

my strength and hope is undying. sometimes I may need to give it a rest. But it always comes screaming back
