Remember

 

Lying there wiping away the thousandth tear
Looking back at the painful past year
Hurt seemed to come from every corner now
She used to have the perfect life, she didn't know how

 

She used to wake up to her man every day
But all that plays is that the cancer took him away
She used to feel so much security and love
But everything that happened was so undreamed of

 

Holding on to what the future may have for her
She hopes it will get better even though its all a blur
She pulls herself up and tries to be strong
Trying to set an example for her kids all day long

 

Remember to tell that special someone you love them today
Remind them you are there, don't ever let them go away
Treasure the moments you spend with them now
Cause leaving them is something you will never allow
