Freedom

Freedom

A Poem by Jade Stone

When I'm alone everything's different
I take off my armor and let my
True colours be lightened up by the stars
Then and only then will I let the tears
Run freely down my cheeks
Then and only then do I truly exist
In my true form
No armor, No war paint, No mask
Just me
A little girl who is to afraid to step
Outside as her true self
A little girl who is so confused about life that she shuts it out and let's the numbered days waste away into nothingness

A little girl who wants to change.
