Empty Lot

Wrote this when I noticed an empty, overgrown lot where an old folks home used to stand.

Empty lot

Forgotten memory of old building

Lone sign, only remnant

Engulfed by-

Long grass

This is the first Tanka I have ever attempted. I will be attempting more but they will need a lot of revision and improvement before I'm anywhere near satisfied with them.
