Heartbreak Disaster

This is the very first poem I have ever written. It starts out as a love poem, but soon changes into a hatred poem. Enjoy.

Well cool, she was sitting by the pool,
and I was staring, just like a fool.
She saw me staring, I couldn't even think.
I didn't even know what I was wearing.

I know it's cruel, 

but I couldn't help but drool.
She came over and said hi,

but i was way too shy and wanted to cry.

She smiled and reached out her hand, 
it seems like she already had it planned.
She gave me a swift kiss, 

just on the cheek--it was so soft and full of bliss.

She stole my heart and I wanted some more. 

The next day, I went back to the pool,

 to see what else she had in store.
She was the rest of my whole, I implore!

But that was the way I felt, 

before it all began to melt.
Love and life are playing tug-a-war, she's a w***e,
and I don't know what to do anymore.

She broke my heart, tore me down,

 all the way to the ground.
She can go burn in hell, 

and we'll all laugh our asses away in jail.

Because I hope she gets what she deserves, 

as we all will hide her preserves.
In the end, she was a curse, 

and to make it any bit worse,

I thought I loved her, but all that is destroyed now
And all we can do is sit here and think how,
how all of this left us alone, waiting for our doom.
All we have left to do is go boom boom boom.

Heartbreak sucks, and being pulled into someones love only to be used and mistreated really sucks.
You take the readers on a journey here, its kind of like a poem that tells a story.
I love poetry like this because it keeps us readers interested, and wanting to know what happens next.

Like I said in another comment, I have a few poems that are dark. I tend to like the dark poetry better than beauty. What I love most about this one is the fact that something that was once beautiful turns into something that is very dark. I think that is a very, very important role in this poem, it illustrates and gives the illusion of two opposite emotions.

I like the fact that this poem states that not only things, but people are not always who they seem. It shows a lesson not to fall so fast or trust to easily.Although unfortunately for me I have a bad habit of doing both of those things :P
