Little bit of Trying.

Try a little bit harder,

reach a little further,

trying is the recipe to success,

It’s the only way for you to reach your best.

So why have we become lazy?

Why do we always take the road that’s easy?

That is my question,

can you afford the answer?

Some interesting thoughts here. We have definitely become lazy as human beings. And for those of us who do strive to try harder, reach further, we often find we've set our bar too high and then feel like failures when we can't attain our goals.

Sometimes, we take the easy road because that's what we are comfortable with and as humans, we hate change. It is not so much the winning that matters, but the trying that counts. Great little poem, thanks.

This is great, direct, to the point, asking a very tough life question that has no one right answer. Maybe we take the easy path because we're so burnt out from taking the hard path that we have no energy left, or that we're afraid, or for some people maybe they just can't see beyond the next few minutes, living only in the present and seeing what, right at this moment, will make them happiest. Good write.
