Mirror

A Poem by SuicidePact.

When I look in the mirror

I see the real me,

I see a girl, who’s confused,

Someone who’s alone,

I see sadness, through my eyes.

I see a life full of secrets,

A life full of lies,

A world full of possibilities,

Which I chose to ignore,

I see someone innocent,

Not one with the label ‘w***e’

When you look into my eyes,

What do you see?

I bet you recognise, a different side

Of me.

This is a very simple yet reflective poem of what we all think when we look into the mirror.

A good poem. What I like is that it is quiet and reflective, then comes this hard hammer- like w***e line....so it has light and shade and impresses with this shift of mood, good work.

This is fantastic. The emotions are really deep and touching.

This is really amazing. There is almost a hollow tone to it. Like you have severed emotional attachment to what you see. I like how at the end you show that there are two sides to every one. Great write and great message.
