So you've been through the Valley of Baca,
And looked back:

It's the profanties of secret mysteries,
Confused eyes, blurred times and sweat
Pouring down from stinking armpits...

As you nervously take the stage,
Play some songs like Leonard Cohen,
Desparate and drall, running like a

SMACK in your face as she hits you and
says dance DANCE, shake your -

Sinking like stones, we're falling alone
and wondering the point and purpose
of it all, dear, of EVERYTHING.

We're sinking like stones, down in the
cushions of others and smelling
Corona.

It breaks your heart, lets the sun run in
Rush into places forgotten and corners lost.

It breaks your heart to see that it was
all worthless;
Corona, Sweat & Leonard Cohen.

So you've been through the Valley of Baca
And found everything meaningless,
Apart from the purpose of loving
a loving God.
